We greatly appreciate the long trip many of you are making to celebrate with us on Cape Cod. We hope you will enjoy your stay while here and understand why it is a very special place for both of us.  Caitlin grew up spending her summers on the Cape since the age of three and she and Billy both spent as much time down here as possible while living in Boston a couple of years ago. August is a very popular time on Cape Cod so we encourage you to make your travel arrangements as soon as possible.

Falmouth is located on Cape Cod, 75 miles south of Boston.

Getting to Falmouth

By Air: The closest airport is Boston Logan about 75 miles away, which is serviced by all major airlines in addition to Jet Blue and Virgin America.  TF Green Airport in Providence, RI is about 80 miles away and is serviced by Southwest Airlines. Boston is slightly more convenient to fly into due to more flexible flight schedules and a bus route direct from Logan to Falmouth.

By car: The drive from Boston is about 1.5 hours long. Directions from Boston are 93 South, to Route 24 South, to Route 495 South which turns into Route 25. Take Route 25 over the Bourne Bridge (welcome to the Cape!), take 3rd exit off rotary following signs for Woods Hole, take 2nd exit at 2nd rotary again following signs for Woods Hole. Continue to follow Route 28 for about 10 miles into Falmouth town center.

By bus: Peter Pan buslines offers a bus route directly from Logan airport to Falmouth and Woods Hole regularly during the summer, approximately every 2-3 hours for $55 round trip.

Where to Stay

As summer is a peak time on the Cape please pay close attention to reservation policies such as minimum night stays or deposits. Most accomodations in the area are simple Inns or Bed & Breakfasts. Here are some we would recommend that are all within 3 miles of Caitlin's family's house and 5 miles of the church.  Another popular, and often more economical option, is to rent a cottage or house with a group of friends.

Getting Around

Public transportation and taxis are limited in Falmouth. If hoping to explore Falmouth or other areas of the Cape, a rental car is probably best. However, most of the town is accessible by bicycle and there is also a trolley that runs through town covering the major areas.
